Prepaid Legal leads can make the distinction between success and defeat in your business. But, not all leads are created equal.

Whether you choose to buy leads or get your own, there are three main "types" or categories that you'll find effective in growing your Prepaid Legal business:

1. Likely customers. These prospects are interested in one of your products or services. If happy, they may be delicately introduced to your business with consistent success. But, they didn't begin with an interest in making money, and they're going to need a lot of education.

2. Opportunity seekers. These individuals are looking for a way to make money. They may or may not be serious, that's for you to ascertain. Also, they may or may not have specific interest in network marketing or PPL. Your duty will be to find the genuine ones, overcome their concerns and guide them into your business.

3. Active network marketers. These individuals are already in an opportunity, and seeking leadership in how to be a success. They aren't in Prepaid Legal, but you know two very critical things about them: 1) they like the idea of MLM, and 2) they've proven it with their credit card by enrolling in a program.

The most qualified prepaid legal leads are those in the last group: active MLMers.

Why?

Well, as mentioned above, you are sure they have an interest in making cash with MLM. You will never hear them say, "Is this one of those ponzi schemes?" and other such ludicrous questions. They're past that; they know better.

They also understand the industry better than someone who's never been in network marketing. So, once they enroll in your group and get trained, they'll produce results much more quickly (and with less preparation) than a normal person.

Lastly, they likely know other active MLMers: their upline, downline, and even cross-line reps they ran into at their company event. These are the kind of individuals you want as a Prepaid Legal Associate in your team.

They're in a program, though, and not necessarily looking to get started in something new. It's your job to softly, and with great care, pique their curiosity without setting off any alarms.

The best way to do this is to start with an offer that assists them in their existing organization... something not even related to your business. Something generic, like marketing tools or coaching.

Obtain their trust, and make evident your value to them by showing them how to move forward with their existing program. Show them that, unlike their existing advisor, you are teaching them things that produce results. But make it clear that the only people who get your full focus are the people contributing to your personal success.

At that time, joining your group will be the next rational move.

In summary, you can pursue potential customers, you can go after opportunity seekers, or you can pursue active MLMers. Of the three, active MLMers have the most potential to explode your team with the least effort. Focus your effort there, and your paycheck will be transformed.
